Davie Soil and Water
Conservation District is very proud to provide many
different types of environmental and conservation education.
We sponsor various contests including public speaking,
poster, essay, and Envirothon competitions. We sponsor an
annual fourth grade conservation field day that engages
students in very important conservation topics such as
forestry, water quality and conservation, wildlife, air
quality, and soils. Likewise we venture out into the schools
per the request of teachers to provide lessons on
conservation of soil and water. If it has to do with
conservation education, we will be there!
